Judge orders agency to monitor religious runaway's phone, Internet use

Oct 28 (CD) An Ohio court today ordered that authorities monitor telephone and Internet use of Fatima Rifqa Bary, the 17-year-old religious runaway who left Columbus for Orlando over the summer. Severe droughts affect nearly 160,000 families

Oct 28 (CT) Severe droughts prevailing in Moneragala and Ampara have affected around 690,000 people belonging to nearly 160,000 families in the two districts. Since all wells and other reservoirs in these areas have run dry, the National Disaster Management Centre has allocated Rs. 3.8 million to supply drinking water for these people. Around 12,000 needy families have been provided with dry rations as well, said the Centre.
