Jan 16 (AFP) The United States and Norway on Saturday denied funding Sri Lanka's main opposition to defeat President Mahinda Rajapakse's re-election bid later this month. Jan 17 (MoD) The Ministry of Posts and Telecommunication has taken steps to open 53 new post offices in areas where IDPs are resettled on priority basis on a directive by President Mahinda Rajapaksa, a Ministry source said.
