Aug 1 (LBO) Stocks closed up 1.98% Thursday following a week of losses with heavy activity in a plantation stock, some gains in the large cap stocks and banking stocks. Aug 1 (PTI) Seventy-four Tamil Nadu fishermen were arrested tonight by the Sri Lankan Navy when they were fishing off Kodaikarai coast.
