Lavish spending to develop Kandy: Kiriella
Jan 22 (Island) The govt would spend lavishly for development of Kandy, assured Minister Lakshman Kiriella inaugurating the construction work of Dodamwala bridge over Mahaweli Ganga connecting Kandy and Harispattuwa on Wednesday. WB, IMF assistance: $1.5B in the cards

SLC suspends work on indoor net projects

Alleged kidney racket: Doctors would be stripped of licences if found guilty

Video: Body of beheaded motorcyclist found in Middeniya
Jan 22 (DM) The beheaded body of a 30-year-old motorcyclist was found at Kariyamadiththa in Middeniya this morning while the body of a 48-year-old man was found hanging some 500 meters away.
