Confusion reigns: VAT sits on the mat

HIV AIDS steadily on the rise in Sri Lanka
May 9 (CT) The number of reported HIV AIDS cases rose to 2,377 after 68 new cases were identified in the first quarter of 2016, sources from the National STD/AIDS Control Programme told Ceylon Today. According to the National STD/AIDS Control Programme 1,505 of those identified victims from the cumulative cases are males. They added that while nine deaths were reported due to contracting the disease, the accumulation of reported AIDS deaths were a total of 376 thus far.
