Pre-pandemic SL is one major fact that is not brought into discussion when getting back to normalcy is spoken about.

Watching Funny Boy in Sri Lanka: A review
Jan 16 (GV) We watched the film, Funny Boy, directed by Deepa Mehta and adapted from Shyam Selvadurais 1994 novel, twice. We were surrounded by the numerous debates and controversies about the film. Both times the film took us to our own memories of the late 1970s
