External govt debt falls slightly over Sept 2023 quarter
Dec 6 (EN) Sri Lanka�s central govt external debt fell slightly to US$ 36,384 million by end Sept 2023, from 36,597 in June. The central govt external debt includes US$ 4,229 million of unpaid principle following the default in April 2022. Watch out! Leatherback turtles are coming
Dec 7 (DM) The largest and rare turtle species, known as leatherback sea turtles, have been spotted arriving in the Kalametiya and Rekawa coastal areas, DWC said. They said this species of turtle is one of the five most rare turtle species in the world.
