Farmers given air rifles to protect crops from animals
Jan 4 (EN) Ministry of Agriculture is issuing air rifles to farmers to protect crops from animals, a statement by the Govt Information Department said. The rifles were given to farmers in Keppetiyawa along with agricultural equipment such as water tanks, water dispersal tools and water motors.
