Bomb blast in Colombo kills 4, injures 24; military blames Tamil Tiger rebels

Jan 2 (AP) A roadside bomb exploded near a bus carrying wounded soldiers in the heart of Sri Lanka's capital Wednesday, killing four people and wounding 24 others, the military and a hospital official said. The military blamed Tamil Tiger rebels for the bomb, which killed one soldier and three civilian bystanders on a busy commercial street in Colombo, said military spokesman Brig. Norway expresses regret over Sri Lanka decision to annul truce
