240 patients brought to Trincomalee hospital from non liberated areas |
Feb 11 (MoD) Two hundred and forty patients who were in the hospitals in non-liberated areas between Mullaittivu and Chalai were taken to Trincomalee by the Sri Lanka Navy with the assistance of ICRC officials yesterday, 10 February. According to the defence sources 116 others to assist the patients, were also brought to the Trincomalee. The patients were later admitted to the Tricomalee hospital for immediate medical attention.
