IDPs: Minister refutes claims made by IUSF |
May 4 (DM) Minister of Resettlement, Milroy Fernando yesterday refuted claims made by the Inter- University Student Federation (IUSF) which recently charged that the IDPs in the North were being severely neglected. IUSF Convener, Udul Premaratne recently said that five Jaffna University students who had lived in IDP camps had recently committed suicide and that some 300 IDPs had gone missing after the war.

First things first: Tax free vehicle permits to all MPs |
May 4 (NF) The government has decided to grant tax free vehicle permits to all MPs elected to parliament at the recent general election. Sumedha G. Sri Lanka tea output recovery slows in March |
