Sand transport regulations relaxed

More than 70 national schools without permanent heads

Steep increase in rape cases in Sri Lanka

May 11 (DM) There is a steep rise in rape cases in Sri Lanka, Parliament was informed yesterday. Some 1450 rape cases have been reported this year as against 1,324 reported in 2010.
