Daimler starts first-batch exports of Fuso trucks to Sri Lanka

June 18 (BS) Daimler India Commercial Vehicles Pvt. Ltd (DICV), a 100% wholly owned subsidiary of Daimler AG, exported the first shipment of 64 Fuso trucks, manufactured at its Oragadam plant, near Chennai and exported to Sri Lanka. Kidney disease takes at least two lives a day

June 18 (wsws) Chronic kidney disease (CKD), the causes of which have not been fully unidentified, is taking at least two lives a day in Sri Lanka�s North Central and Uva provinces. It has already killed more than 20,000 people, mainly from poor farming families, over the past two decades. Soil samples taken from paddy fields contain Cadmium

June 19 (DN) Experiments carried out by the Bathalagoda Rice Research and Development Institute (RRDI) have revealed that soil samples taken from all paddy fields contain a certain amount of Cadmium.
