Police call for ban on full face helmets |
Feb 20 (DM) Following the Rs. 20 million robbery of a jewellery and money exchange centre in Negombo by armed men wearing full face helmets, the need for implementation of the law against wearing such helmets has arisen. Feb 20 (Hindu) Fishermen in the Pudukottai district are divided over the plan to stay away from the sea for a month from February 13, a decision taken during the course of bilateral talks between the representatives of fishermen of Sri Lanka and Tamil Nadu in Chennai last month.
