Dog meat sold with venison |
Oct 2 (DM) Flesh of dogs was mixed with venison and other wild animals in Hambantota, officials of the Wildlife Conservation Department said. Ranger Gunatunga said organised gangs were killing the drought stricken wild animals that flock to the tanks in search of water. Sports club restaurants come under probe |

Lightning kills four in South |
Oct 2 (Island) Lightning had killed four persons��two males and two females��at Kosnilgoda, Morawaka in the Matara District yesterday, DMC Assistant Director, Pradeep Kodipilli said.
